Although most of the festival is free to the public, there are many costs to putting on such an event—fees, permits, insurance, musical talent, sanitary facilities, police security, a first aid station, equipment rental, cleanup, and food trucks.
Businesses and individuals have asked how they can support the effort and we are passing the hat among our friends and neighbors to make this once-in-a-lifetime event a memorable one.
If you are interested in contributing, please use the following guide as a suggestion, with the appreciation of your Five Points/Hayes Barton neighbors and organizers of the event.
Individuals and Families
$1,000 Centennial Sponsor
$500 Centennial Donor
$250 Centennial Contributor
$100 Centennial Friends of HB
$25 Centennial Individual & Family
✶All support will be gratefully received. Although we are a not-for-profit effort, contributions are not tax-deductible for charitable purposes. However, your participation and those of our in-kind contributors will be memorialized in a special commemorative keepsake program, along with historic information, photos, and a schedule of events.
✶All contributors will be entered into a drawing for prizes and gift baskets.
✶Please mail your check to Hayes Barton Centennial Committee, 2009 Fairview Road #6611, Raleigh, NC 27628-6611; or use PayPal: (designate “Friends and Family” to let us avoid a fee) and send to firstname.lastname@example.org, or Venmo: @HayesBarton100.
